About the Confucius Institute Ljubljana

The Confucius Institute is a non-profit organization established for the purpose of promoting and teaching Chinese language and culture. It operates under the supervision of Hanban.

The main purpose of CI Ljubljana is to promote Chinese language and culture among students, the community and companies, encourage business opportunities in China and act as a bridge between the Slovenian and Chinese business environments.

DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL

On Saturday, June 19th, we celebrated the Dragon Boat Festival. The event, which every year traditionally takes place on the Ljubljanica River (under the Prule bridge), was organized by the Confucius Institute Ljubljana and the Kayak Canoe Club Ljubljana.
