Chinese Myths and Legends

On Tuesday, November 22, at 5 p.m., at the Slovenian Book Fair, Prof. Dr. Nataša Vampelj Suhadolnik, author Dr. Tina Ilgo and illustrators Huiqin Wang and Jaka Vukotič talked about a new book Chinese Myths and Legends. The event was moderated by dr. Tina Bildan.
The book by authors (translators) Tina Illgo, Tjaša Vilotič, Katja Simončič and Mojca Seljak contains 32 traditional Chinese myths and legends. The stories come from a study of various sources that introduce the reader to the world of mythical creatures from Chinese culture. The rich illustrations that accompany the stories are by Peter Škerl, Marta Bartolj, Anka Kočevar, Jure Engelsberger, Jaka Vukotič, Polona Lovšin, Liana Saje Wang and Huiqin Wang.
The book Chinese Myths and Legends was published by Miš publishing with the support of the Confucius Institute Ljubljana and Krka d.d.
