The Confucius Institute at the University of Ljubljana hosted the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Sri Lanka and the Spring Festival Painting Exhibition

On Tuesday, January 24, 2023, an exhibition of over 100 works of art created by Slovenian and Chinese children was opened at the Ljubljana City Hall.

On Tuesday, January 24, 2023, a Slovenian-Chinese art and photography exhibition “united in creativity” opened in the Central atrium of the Ljubljana City Hall, Mestni trg 1, Ljubljana.

The event marked the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Slovenia and the People's Republic of China, Chinese New Year and the twinning of Ljubljana and Chengdu.

Pupils from Trnovo Primary School in Ljubljana and Yandaojie Primary School in Chengdu have made illustrations that will take you to the wonderful world of Chinese myths, legends, festivals, customs and cuisine. The best 10 works were selected and received an award presented by Chinese Ambassador Wang Shunqing.

The photo exhibition from the collection “Chengdu, City of Vistas 2022” is designed to take you to the heart of the capital of Sichuan Province, where giant pandas live.

The art and photography exhibition is open to the public until February 12.
