The fourth day of the first lunar month is believed to be a good day for the Chinese people to welcome the gods and make sure the New Year will be filled with good luck and many blessings.

As the celebration began, teacher Li Xueting from Kranj's Confucius Classroom recited a poem abouth youth. Afterwards, teacher Wang Min from The Confucius Institute Ljubljana and teacher Wang Shiqi from Kranj's classroom performed two songs, »Love Story« and »Later«, that nudged the audience to sing along and create a festive, joyful atmosphere.

The students at the Confucius Instute Ljubljana and the Confucius classrooms also prepared their performances for the celebration.
They performed traditional martial arts, played a classic Chinese song called Here Comes the Kitchen Smoke »又见炊烟 You Jian Chui Yan« on the saxophone and recited the »Chinese Lantern Festival Story« in Chinese.
The performances were very well prepared and won a big applause from the audience.

The celebration ended with the teachers Li Qinghao and Xu Yidan from the Koper classroom leading an interesting quiz game for everyone present.
